Rules & Regulations
Garbage Pick-up
The City collects household garbage
twice a
week.
Pick up is Monday/Thursday, or Tuesday/Friday
depending on where you live.

Household
garbage must be separated from yard Waste.
Recycling
- Your Recycling Day is every Thursday. To better serve
you, the recycling program has expanded to include more items.

Yard Waste
Your yard waste pickup day is Wednesday:
- No tree branches larger than 6" in diameter
- Place all prepared yard waste at curbside
- Tied bundles not to exceed 4 ft. in length
- Tied bundles limited to 50 lbs.
- Tied bundles not to exceed 2 Ft. across
- Limit 10 cans or bundles
Yard waste must be placed in a garbage container or bagged.
Tree limbs must be cut to 4 foot lengths, tied and bundled in 50
pound bundles or less.
Do Not use
automated garbage cart or
recycling bins for yard waste disposal.
There is a fee for unprepared yard waste, Call the

Pick Up Time
Place your garbage, yard waste & recyclables at the curb by 6 a.m.
on your scheduled pick up day, when collection crews start their
day.
Refuse containers may be placed at curbside the
evening prior to scheduled pickup day.
All emptied refuse containers shall be removed
from curbside/right-of-way by midnight of the scheduled pickup day.
Junk Pick-up
Customers may also have large items such as
refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers, water heaters, etc.
picked up.
There is a fee for this service. Removal of
such items must be scheduled, call the number below well in advance for dates and
information.
