Remember!
Your property drains into the storm water
system which discharges into the Manatee River and Terra Ceia Bay.
Contaminated discharges to the City of
Palmetto's storm water system contribute to higher levels of
pollutants in our bays and estuaries in to which the system
drains. Pollutants such as heavy metals, toxins, oil and
grease, solvents, nutrients, and bacteria from these discharges
may significantly degrade the quality of Florida waters and
natural resources as well as their surrounding environments. |
