Parks & Recreation

The Parks Department provides the labor and material resources necessary to maintain buildings and parks in the
City-wide parks system.  The scope of these responsibilities encompasses approximately 28 individual areas which comprise approximately 59.7 acres of community parkland.

A diverse range of facilities exist including the Celebration Center located in Lamb Park, the Palmetto Historical Park, neighborhood parks, athletic fields, walks and parking lots.
