Purchasing Department

The Purchasing Department is responsible for all aspects of the City's centralized procurement process.  Its objective is to acquire needed goods and services as efficiently and as inexpensively as possible, while assuring fair and equal opportunity to all qualified vendors.

The Purchasing Department's primary function is to assist other City Departments in their procurement efforts, securing materials and services which meet necessary standards and compliance with applicable laws.

The Purchasing Department is located in City Hall.

The posted Bids and Requests for Proposals can be obtained by emailing your request to nhaisley@palmettofl.org or by
calling (941)723-4570. Newspaper notices of bids and proposals are advertised in the Bradenton Herald, typically on Mondays.

To become a Registered Vendor with the City of Palmetto, please complete the one page Bid Request App located under Applications & Forms.  Please mail your completed form to: City of Palmetto Purchasing Department, PO Box 1209, Palmetto, FL 34220-1209
