The Committee consists of several Public Works staff members, a representative from the Palmetto Police Department, a representative from the North River Fire Department and a contracted professional engineer

Overview
Members review plans for development, inspect finished projects, and follow the construction of proposed projects to ensure that City of Palmetto Code of Ordinances, Comprehensive Plan, and all other applicable documents are followed.

The Staff Development Review reviews development and construction plans submitted for residential, commercial, and industrial development within the City of Palmetto.

The Staff Development Review is not considered a board of officials. It is comprised of staff members that are responsible for development guidelines for utilities, land planning, engineering and health, welfare and safety issues within the City of Palmetto.
