Code Enforcement focuses on quality of life issues that affect our residents, including:
- Nuisance signs
- Noise complaints
- Abandoned property and vehicles
- Minimum maintenance regulations
- Health and safety issues
Code ViolationsThe vast majority of code violations are resolved informally through the cooperation of the individuals involved.
More formal actions include the issuance of citations, answerable in Manatee County Court, and the mailing of a Notice of Violation that will be heard before the City of Palmetto Code Enforcement Board.
