The Purchasing Department is responsible for all aspects of the City's centralized procurement process. The Department's objectives are to:
  • Acquire needed goods and services efficiently and inexpensively
  • Assure fair and equal opportunity to all qualified vendors 
  • Assist other City departments in their procurement efforts
  • Secure materials and services that meet necessary standards and compliance with applicable laws
