It’s a Classic Christmas in Palmetto
The new Sutton Park Pavilion sets the stage for a very special “Classic Christmas Concert in the Park” on Friday evening, December 13, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The open air stage will come alive with traditional live music of the holiday season provided by the Manatee Concert Band. The Concert Band, in its 44th season, will perform songs such as “Sleigh Ride,” “Happy Holidays,” “Nutcracker Suite” and “Greensleeves” (from A Charlie Brown Christmas). The festive music will fill the park on a beautiful Palmetto December night.
The Palmetto Community Redevelopment Agency sponsors the event at the new Pavilion and expects this concert to be the first of more classic musical performances from the Concert Band in 2014. Admission is free of charge and everyone is invited to bring a chair, blanket and hot chocolate to enjoy the music.
