PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

To:       RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF PALMETTO FLORIDA LIVING IN THE AREA OF 17TH ST W BETWEEN 14TH AVE W AND 18TH AVE W.

A water main break has occurred at approximately 2 AM near the intersection of 17TH ST W AND 14TH AVE W.

Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled.  A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.  As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

This "precautionary boil water notice" will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

AVISO PRECAUCIONARIO SOBRE EL AGUA HERVIDA

Para: RESIDENTES DE LA CIUDAD DE PALMETTO FLORIDA QUE VIVEN EN EL ÁREA DE 17 ST W ENTRE 14TH AVE W Y 18TH AVE W.

Se produjo un corte principal de agua aproximadamente a las 2 AM cerca de la intersección de 17TH ST W y 14TH AVE W.

Por lo tanto, como precaución, recomendamos que se hierva toda el agua utilizada para beber, cocinar, hacer hielo, cepillarse los dientes o lavar los platos. Una ebullición continua de un minuto es suficiente. Como alternativa, se puede usar agua embotellada.

Este "aviso de precaución con agua hirviendo" permanecerá vigente hasta que se haya corregido el problema y una encuesta bacteriológica muestre que el agua es segura para beber.
