The City of Palmetto will hold an election for the three Ward seats during the General Election on November 2, 2010.
To qualify for a Ward seat, candidates must each be an elector and have been a legal resident of the wards from which they are elected for six consecutive months prior to the last day of qualifying for election to the office sought. Qualifying dates for the three Ward seats begins Noon on June 14th (Monday) and ends on Noon on June 18th (Friday).
Potential candidates can pick up a qualifying packet at the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections. The Manatee County Supervisor of Elections performs all qualifying of candidates for the City elections.
